Welcome!

I being, the internet lurker that I am, frequently used reviews involving my selection of cigars (among other things), to better allocate my meager supply of liquid assets towards cigars that I have a higher probability of liking, vs. cigars I know that I would most likely not enjoy. I found myself reading so many different reviews, with so many diverse opinions, that I could not possibly use them to give me an adequate, non-subjective representation of the cigars that I found myself to be interested in. I feel that the best way I can find those answers, is to seek out others who share my passion for cigars, by designing a blog to express my opinions, and discover others who share my tastes.

Upon receipt of such a marvelous idea, I also realized, that there are quite a few other things which I could myself write reviews about and seek reciprocation of opinions about. Thus, Hedonism Weekly was born. (Most likely to be posted more often than weekly, but damn if it didn’t sound good.) These are not things meant to be enjoyed by any elite class, but by everyone! You need not wear a suit and tie to smoke a cigar, but you should know what you like best, and enjoy it accordingly.

My eventual goal is to offer you a diverse, unbiased, down to earth, opinion covering cigars, and eventually a handful of hedonistic activities. Cigars and Rum, Pipes and Tea, and many other delightful things.

Remember, this is, and forever will be, a work in progress. Many areas of my blog may be well developed (Cigars, Beer) while I may just be coming into others (Tea,Wines). So enjoy, and try not to be too judgmental.

I hope that my attempt at supplying myself with something that I could not find elsewhere also enables you to make better, informed decisions about the things you too love!
